See details of the Pagans' Wall below. The technique of building the wall is singular northern of the Alps. Oak bolts held the rocks together, a technique which is unknown in Northern megalithic sites. It's a technique, which was later used with bronze bolts in Ras Shamrah (Ugarith), Mycenae and Malta. Probably the technique was imported by neolithic immigrants from the Aegean Sea.

Details der Heidenmauer. Die Bauweise in Schwalbenschwanztechnik mit Eichenbolzen ist einzigartig nördlich der Alpen. Aus späteren Zeiten sind Bronzebolzen aus Ras Shamra (Ugarith), Mykene und Malta bekannt. Vielleicht wurde die Technik aus der Ägäis importiert.
